The carrier has launched 21 new nonstop routes, with nine routes to and from three new cities including Portland, Key West and Jackson Hole. Eight of the new routes were delayed in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Tuesday (January 12, 2021), Allegiant announced a major expansion with the launch of 21 new nonstop routes including service to three new cities with nine routes to and from Portland, Oregon, Key West, Florida and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Eight of the routes announced today were delayed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Celebrating the new services, Allegiant is offering one-way fares from only $39. New service from Portland includes flights to Santa Maria and Monterey (California) and Idaho Falls, Idaho, while from Key West customers will enjoy service to Nashville and Sanford, Florida. From Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the airline is launching new flights to Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Reno.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Allegiant’s Vice President of Revenue and Planning, Drew Wells, said,
“Today, travelers are seeking destinations that allow them the chance to recreate in a safe way, usually outdoors. The three cities we're adding to our network – Key West, Portland and Jackson Hole – are gateways to some of the United States’ most scenic destinations, including national parks and other outdoor attractions that are in high demand.”
Founded in 1999, Allegiant links passengers from small to medium cities to world-class leisure destinations with all non-stop flights and industry-low average fares. The company offers base airfares that are often half the price of a typical roundtrip ticket and operates an all-Airbus A320 Family fleet.
