Alaska Airlines to Launch Seven New Routes Between California and the Pacific Northwest

Alaska Airlines has today announced the launch of seven new city pairs between California and the Pacific Northwest from October 2025. New routes will be added to and from Burbank, Palm Springs and San Diego, as well as Boise and Spokane.

On Thursday (July 31, 2025), Alaska Airlines announced the launch of seven new routes between California and the Pacific Northwest starting October 2025. The carrier has added three new flights from Hollywood Burbank Airport, located north of downtown Los Angeles, with service to Eugene and Redmond (Oregon) as well as to Pasco (Washington). As the holiday season gets underway, Alaska will also offer new service linking San Diego and Sun Valley (Idaho). Additionally, Boise will see new service to Ontario (California), Palm Springs and Santa Rosa will be connected, and Spokane (Washington) and Orange County (California) will be linked. All of the new routes will be served with a 76-seat Embraer E175 regional jet featuring onboard entertainment and Wi-Fi.
In Thursday’s announcement, Alaska Airlines, VP – Revenue Management and Network Planning, Kirstin Armine, said,

These new additions further expand our ability to take our guests between growing markets in California and the Pacific Northwest for leisure and business travel.”
