Alaska Airlines Rewards Loyal Guests With New Mileage Plan Promotions and Other Benefits

Alaska Airlines announced on Monday they will offer their devoted customers more benefits, both in the air and on the ground. The carrier’s Mileage Plan members will enjoy three new promotions and Alaska Airlines Visa® cardholders will benefit from new perks.

Today, Alaska Airlines announced more benefits for their devoted customers including three new promotions for Mileage Plan members and added benefits for Alaska Airlines Visa® cardholders. Alaska has guaranteed elite status through 2021 and will now offer a 50 percent bonus of elite qualifying miles for flights through December 31, 2020. Additionally, for the first time ever, Alaska Airlines Visa® cardholders can use their cards to earn elite qualifying miles and double miles for qualifying restaurant purchases. Alaska Airlines cardholders can earn 2,500 elite qualifying miles for every $5,000 spent on purchases between June 1st and September 30th, 2020 (up to a maximum of 10,000 elite qualifying miles per cardholder). In support of local restaurants, Alaska consumer cardholders will now earn two miles for every dollar spent (up to $1,500) at restaurants, take-out and delivery from June 1st through July 31, 2020. In Monday’s announcement, Alaska Airlines’ Managing Director of Loyalty, Ryan Butz said,


“We are thankful to our loyal guests for their support during this unprecedented time. In addition to continuing to offer flexibility and assurance when booking flights, members can now earn miles and status when using our Alaska Airlines Visa credit card. We look forward to seeing our guests onboard when the time is right and hope this promotion can aid local restaurants and businesses.”
