On Wednesday (May 6, 2026), airBaltic announced the introduction of a new ticket fare type. The carrier’s new fare, Economy MINI, is an entry-level option designed for customers traveling with only a personal item. In Wednesday’s announcement, airBaltic’s Chief Commercial Officer, Thomas Ramdahl, said,
“With Economy MINI, airBaltic continues to develop its fare portfolio to reflect how customers travel today, introducing a straightforward entry-level fare that customers can flexibly tailor with additional services if needed. This new fare complements our existing fare structure and ensures every customer can choose the option that best fits their journey. Passengers travelling light benefit from a more accessible price point, while those who need more can add exactly what they require.”
