Air Transat Unveils Winter 2021/22 Flying Program With Nearly 50 Destinations

Air Transat will offer flights to nearly 50 destinations for their winter 2021/22 winter schedule from November 1, 2021. The carrier will serve destinations throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, the U.S. and Europe.

On Wednesday (June 16, 2021), Air Transat announced their winter 2021/22 schedule with nearly 50 destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, the U.S. and Europe. The schedule will also include new service between Montreal and Fort Myers and Miami, Florida, complementing existing scheduled flights to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Starting December 2021, Air Transat will offer four weekly flights to Miami and twice-weekly service to Fort Myers.


In Wednesday’s announcement, Transat’s President and CEO, Annick Guérard, said,


“We know that our clients are eager to travel, whether it's to visit loved ones or for a change of scenery. And we are sure to meet this strong, pent-up demand with the rich variety of destinations we are offering this winter. Plus, by adding Miami and Fort Myers to our program, we are consolidating our position in the United States, a popular sun destination for Canadian travellers.”


This winter, the carrier will offer direct flights from eight Canadian cities including Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, London, Halifax and Moncton. Air Transat will also offer travelers a selection of packages to the South featuring 290 properties from four collections: Luxury, Out of Office, Family and Solo. Customers departing from Montreal will enjoy direct flights to Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Martinique, Panama, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, El Salvador and the United States.


Air Transat guests traveling from Toronto will be able to fly directly to Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, St. Maarten and the U.S. From Quebec City, customers will enjoy direct flights to seven sunny destinations in Cuba, the U.S., Mexico and the Dominican Republic. To facilitate seamless connections to international destinations, Air Transat will also be operating domestic flights between Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Vancouver.


For customers wishing for a long-awaited European vacation, Air Transat will gradually offer nonstop service from Montreal to France, Portugal, Spain and Italy, as well as from Toronto to the United Kingdom, Portugal, the Netherlands, Ireland and Italy. From Quebec City, the airline will offer service to France. Air Transat customers’ whose flights are affected by cancellations will be eligible for a refund.
