Air Transat announced on Tuesday that they will bolster their Winter 2020 schedule with over 40 destinations on offer from November 1, 2020. The carrier resumed operations on July 23, 2020 and is gradually ramping-up operations.
On Tuesday (August 4, 2020), Transat A.T. Inc. (Air Transat) announced that they will offer over 40 destinations on their Winter 2020 schedule including popular holiday destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, the U.S., Europe and Canada. The carrier resumed operations on July 23, 2020 and continues to expand their overall flying program. For the winter season, the company is offering a selection of Southern and European packages featuring over 320 dream hotels. Transat is offering travelers added peace of mind when booking with itinerary change or cancellation flexibility. Additionally, the carrier has launched their ‘Traveller Care’ program to ensure a safe travel experience. In Tuesday’s announcement, Air Transat’s Chief Operating Officer, Annick Guérard said,
“Even though the entire tourism industry has been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the desire to go abroad for a change of scenery and for new discoveries is still very much alive in travellers. That is why we are delighted to present them with our enhanced offer. Now, more than ever, this program of more than 40 destinations allows us to redesign our future one step at a time and to renew our mission, which is to brighten the everyday of our passengers.”
In addition to the flights from Montreal, Toronto, and Quebec City, Air Transat will also offer direct flights to the most popular destinations in Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean from Halifax, London, Moncton and Ottawa. For customers wishing to travel to Europe, Air Transat will offer direct flights from Montreal to Malaga (Spain), Paris (France) and Lisbon (Portugal) as well as from Toronto to Faro, Lisbon and Porto (Portugal) and Glasgow, London and Manchester (UK). Additionally, travelers will enjoy direct flights between Quebec City and Paris during the holidays. Finally, Transat will also offer domestic connections between Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, greatly expanding international destination options for Canadian holidaymakers.
