Air Transat to Launch New Service to Tulum in Mexico From Montreal and Quebec City

This winter, Air Transat will launch new seasonal direct service to Tulum, Mexico from both Montreal and Quebec City. Flights from Montreal will start on December 19th, while service between Quebec City and Tulum will commence on December 21, 2024.

On Tuesday (July 16, 2024), Air Transat announced the launch of new seasonal nonstop service to Tulum in Mexico from both Montreal and Quebec City. Flights between Montreal and Tulum will operate three times weekly Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from December 19, 2024, through April 27, 2025. Service between Quebec City and Tulum will operate once weekly on Saturdays from December 21, 2024, through April 26, 2025. Tulum will become Air Transat’s fifth destination in Mexico, complementing existing service to Acapulco, Cancún, Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Air Transat’s Chief Revenue Officer, Sebastian Ponce, said,
“This new service to Tulum is an important step in our development and diversification strategy in Mexico, one of our most important markets in the South. By adding Tulum as our third destination in Quintana Roo, we are responding to the growing demand for this region, while strengthening our position as the leader in travel to the South from Montreal and Quebec City.”
