Air Transat Expands Virtual Interlining Platform With Addition of Jet2.com and Air Mauritius

Air Transat has added Jet2 and Air Mauritius to ‘connectair by Air Transat’, their virtual interlining platform.  This expands the number of collaborating airlines to 16, offering more than 280 additional destinations worldwide.

On Monday (August 26, 2024), Air Transat announced the expansion of their virtual interlining platform, connectair by Air Transat, with the addition of Jet2 and Air Mauritius.  Travelers can bow combine Air Transat flights with 16 collaborating airlines, offering service to over 280 additional destinations worldwide.  The partnership with Air Mauritius provides Air Transat guests easy access to Mauritius via a connection at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or London Heathrow (LHR).  Likewise, the partnership with Jet2 adds several new destinations in the UK, including Leeds Bradford, Birmingham, Newcastle and East Midlands.


Currently, Air Mauritius operates nonstop service to 13 destinations across Europe, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, Africa, and the Indian Ocean islands.  The carrier also serves over 50 destinations in codeshare with partner airlines.  Air Mauritius operates a modern fleet consisting of four Airbus A350-900s, two A330-900neos, two A330-200s and Four ATR 72 turboprop aircraft.  Three more directly ordered Airbus A350-900s will join the carrier’s fleet between 2026 and 2027.


Jet2 is the third largest airline in the UK, serving over 500 routes from 12 UK airports to more than 70 sun, leisure city and ski destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands.  The airline offers friendly low fares and award-winning service for guests enjoying a flight-only product or a package holiday with Jet2holidays, the UK’s largest tour operator.
