Air Transat Announces Summer 2023 Flying Program

Air Transat has published their summer 2023 flying program which includes 275 weekly flights to over 40 destinations, and increased frequencies through fleet optimization. The carrier will also serve over 265 additional destinations through airline partnerships.

On Monday (November 21, 2022), Air Transat announced the launch of their summer 2023 flying program, which will feature 275 weekly flight to over 40 destinations during the peak season. The schedule includes bolstered service to Europe, increased frequencies to destinations in the South and the U.S., as well as enhanced domestic service. Additionally, the carrier will offer over 265 additional destinations through partnerships with other airlines, primarily through the expansion of codeshare partnerships and their exclusive connectair by Air Transat platform.

In Monday’s announcement, Air Transat’s Vice President – Network, Revenue Management and Pricing, Michèle Barre, said,


“This flight program is perfectly in line with our mission, which is to encourage discovery and foster openness, whatever the destination or the reason for traveling. From an operational standpoint, the more efficient use of our aircraft allows us to increase the frequency of flights and regain a capacity similar to what we had prior to the pandemic.”


During the peak summer 2023 season, Air Transat will offer 88 weekly nonstop flights to popular European destinations from Montreal, as well as 73 direct weekly flights between Toronto and Europe. From Quebec City, the carrier will offer three weekly direct flights to Paris and one to London. Air Transat will also offer 16 weekly nonstop flights to the U.S. next summer including four to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), three to Orlando (MCO), and three each to Miami (MIA), Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO). Additionally, from Toronto the airline will offer seven direct flights to the U.S. including four to Fort Lauderdale and three to Orlando. Transat will also once again offer one weekly nonstop flight between Quebec City and Fort Lauderdale.

Air Transat will also offer a selection of popular fun and sun destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean on departure from Montreal and Toronto for summer 2023. Additionally, with strong consumer demand, the carrier will continue to operate numerous domestic flights from Montreal and Toronto next summer.
