Air Serbia to Launch Service to New Destinations in Germany, France and Sweden

From May 2023, air Serbia will launch new service from Belgrade to Hamburg, Gothenburg, Cologne and Marseille. Flights to the new German and Swedish destinations will operate three times weekly, while Belgrade-Marseille service will operate twice weekly.

On Tuesday (December 6, 2022), Air Serbia announced the launch of new service from Belgrade to Hamburg, Cologne (Germany), Gothenburg (Sweden) and Marseille (France) from May 2023. Service to Hamburg, Cologne and Gothenburg will operate three times weekly, while Belgrade-Marseille flights will operate twice weekly. All routes will be operated with an Airbus A319 with one-way fares from €49 for flights to Cologne, Hamburg and Gothenburg, and from €69 to Marseille.

In Tuesday’s announcement, Air Serbia’s General Manager – Commercial and Strategy, Boško Rupić, said,


“In the same week in which we announced the commencement of flights to Chicago, our company will also intensify flights to destinations in West Europe - we will be operating flights to two more cities in Germany, and one each in France and Sweden. We are continuing to expand our network, while striving to bring more destinations in Europe closer to our passengers. In the coming days, we will surprise our passengers with the introduction of direct flights to some of their favourite summer destinations.”

Flights to Hamburg will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from May 15th, while flights to Cologne will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from May 18th. Service between Belgrade and Gothenburg will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays from May 18th, while Belgrade-Marseille flights will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting May 20, 2023. Inbound travelers to Belgrade will also enjoy seamless onward connections to other destinations in the carrier’s network such as Thessaloniki, Athens, Istanbul, Bucharest, Sofia, Tirana, Skopje, Sarajevo, Rome, Malta, Split, Dubrovnik, Tivat, Podgorica, Vienna, Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Florence, Catania, Naples, Palermo and Larnaca.


Air Serbia was launched under their current name in October 2013, as the national airline of the Republic of Serbia. The carrier offers service from Belgrade, Niš and Kraljevo to 60 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North America and Africa with both passenger and cargo flights. Air Serbia also offers service to Asia, Australia, North America and Africa via codeshare partners. The airline’s fleet consists of 19 aircraft, including one Airbus A330, 12 Airbus A320 Family and six ATR-72 Family turboprop aircraft.
