Air Serbia will launch new seasonal direct service between Niš and Zurich from December 17, 2022. The route will be operated twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the holiday season, with the final flight operating on January 14, 2023.
On Tuesday (August 30, 2022), Air Serbia announced the launch of new winter 2022/23 seasonal direct service between Niš and Zurich. The route will be operated twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays with the first flight, JU1374 departing on December 17, 2022, and the final flight operating on January 14, 2023. Tickets are now available for booking on the airline’s website and other distribution channels. The new seasonal service from Niš complements Air Serbia’s existing service to Zurich from Belgrade.
In today’s announcment, Air Serbia’s Head of Network Planning and Scheduling, Bojan Aranđelović, said,
“We are extremely glad that we can offer our passengers a fast and direct route between Niš and Zurich during New Year and Christmas holidays. In this way, we secure good connections between the largest Swiss city and the south of our country. For now, the flights are seasonal, but depending on passenger interest, we will consider its continuation.”
Air Serbia was launched under their current name in October 2013, as the national airline of the Republic of Serbia. The carrier flies and plans to offer service from Belgrade, Niš and Kraljevo to 60 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North America and Africa with both passenger and cargo flights. Air Serbia also offers service to Asia, Australia, North America and Africa via codeshare partners. The airline’s fleet consists of 17 aircraft, including one widebody, 20 narrowbody and six turboprop aircraft.
