France represents a strategically important market for us, with strong economic and business ties and a large diaspora from Serbia and other countries of the region. We are glad that we managed to quickly restore traffic between Serbia and France, and we are proud that we have for a long time stood out as the only airline on this route.”
In an earlier press release on Friday May 7, 2021, Air Serbia announced that they will increase their flight offer to destinations in the Russian Federation. The carrier will offer service to as many as four Russian destinations, including seven weekly flights to Moscow from June 2021. Air Serbia will also resume flights to Krasnodar from June 4th and to St. Petersburg starting June 8th. Additionally, the airline will launch new twice-weekly service to Rostov-on-Don starting June 4, 2021.
Speaking on the increase service to the Russian Federation, Air Serbia’s Mr. Marek, said,
“We continue to react quickly to all changes in the travel restrictions in order to make use of every opportunity that arises. The Russian Federation represents a strategically extremely important market for us, and we are very glad that we will soon be able to operate flights to as many as four destinations in this great country. We are especially proud of the fact that, after Oslo and Geneva, we will be launching flights to Rostov-on-Don, as the third completely new destination in our network since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, and the second one this year.”
