Air Moldova has today operated their inaugural service between Chisinau and Leipzig/Halle Airport. Leipzig is the carrier’s third destination in Germany, joining existing regular service to Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.
On Tuesday (August 16, 2022), Air Moldova announced the operation of their inaugural flight between Chisinau (KIV) Moldova and Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ) in Germany. The route will be operated twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays, potentially increasing to three weekly frequencies based on demand. Leipzig is the carrier’s third German destination, joining existing regular service to Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.

Founded in 1993, Air Moldova operates direct service to destinations including Bologna, Dublin, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Larnaca, Leipzig, Lisbon, London, Milan, Paris, Rome, Venice, Verona, Tel Aviv and Turin, as well as seasonal flights to Antalya, Dalaman, Tivat, Heraklion and Sharm-el-Sheikh. The carrier offers Business and Economy Class cabins and operates a fleet of five aircraft including two Airbus A319s, one A320 and two A321s.
