The health and wellbeing of Air France’s guests and team members is at the heart of the airline’s concerns. Air France is committed to providing optimum health and hygiene conditions at every stage of the journey. Surgical masks are required onboard and the cabin air is renewed every three minutes. Air France’s aircraft have also been equipped with hospital operating room grade HEPA filters, which help filter airborne particulates as the cabin air is refreshed. Additionally, the airline has reinforced aircraft cleaning and sanitization procedures, with high-touch areas such as armrests, tray tables, and touch screens disinfected before each flight.
