In Thursday’s announcment, Air France-KLM’s DGA Commercial Sales, Henri de Peyrelongue, said,

“Air France-KLM is very proud to be the first major European airline group to initiate cooperation with IndiGo. This codeshare agreement will allow us to increase our local presence and to improve the connectivity of India - one of the fastest growing markets - with the rest of the world, via our hubs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol. This means an enriched network with no less than 30 new destinations in India, as well as many possible round trip combinations for business and leisure travel.”

Also commenting on the codeshare partnership launch, IndiGo’s CEO, Ronojoy Dutta, said,

This partnership is fully in line with our ambition to strengthen our country's air connectivity while offering affordable fares. It will allow us to offer Air France-KLM customers a punctual, affordable, courteous and stress-free travel experience on board our aircraft to 30 exceptional Indian destinations.”
