Air France Adds Five New Destinations to Summer 2020 Schedule

Air France announced on Wednesday that they will add five new destinations to their summer 2020 schedule including Djerba, Thessaloniki, Santorini, and Mykonos from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Brest from Calvi.

Today, Air France announced the addition of five new destinations to their summer 2020 schedule. The new routes include Djerba (Tunisia), Thessaloniki, Santorini and Mykonos (Greece) from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. The airline will also serve Brest (Brittany, France) from Calvi in Corsica. In addition to the new routes announced on Wednesday, Air France is adding frequencies on existing routes from its Parisian hubs. From Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the carrier will add more flights to Bari, Cagliari, Olbia and Palermo (Italy), Dubrovnik and Split (Croatia), Alicante, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia (Spain), Faro (Portugal), Heraklion (Greece), Tunis (Tunisia) as well as Figari and Nice (France). From Paris-Orly, additional flight will be added to Ibiza (Spain) and Perpignan and Toulon (France).

Djerba, Tunisia is a Mediterranean paradise offering travelers the sun and sea along with a host of leisure activities such as sightseeing (the colorful old town of Houmt Souk is a must see) or just relaxing in the picturesque landscape of palm and olive trees. Thessaloniki offers ancient walls and ramparts, the upper city of Ana Poli, Byzantine Churches and a vibrant architectural and cultural heritage. Santorini rewards visitors with magnificent cliffs, whitewashed houses and blue-domed Churches overlooking the sea. Travelers will enjoy touring archeological sites, hiking, fine dining all in the presence of Santorini’s incomparable natural vistas. Mykonos has something to offer for everyone from individual adventurers, to groups of friends and families. The famous Greek island is known for its beautiful beaches and fisherman’s village along with an exciting nightlife.


The historic port of Brest on Brittany’s coast in France offers a rebellious spirit with alternative galleries, music scenes and trendy restaurants. Finally, Calvi in Corsica, France offers spectacular views and a colorful marina, 6 kilometers of white sand beaches, turquoise waters and stunning mountains.

Air France will offer 16 new routes in 2020 including service from Paris-CDG to Krakow (Poland), Faro (Portugal), Alicante, Malaga, Seville and Valencia (Spain), Djerba (Tunisia), Mykonos, Santorini and Thessaloniki (Greece) and Monrovia (Liberia). New destinations from Paris-Orly include Madrid and Ibiza (Spain), Munich (Germany), and Algiers (Algeria). As previously mentioned, Air France will also offer regional service between Brest (Brittany) and Calvi, Corsica.
