Air Canada Launches Daily Year-Round Service From Vancouver to Santa Ana, California

Air Canada announced on Tuesday new year-round service between Vancouver and Santa Ana in Orange County, California. The daily service will commence on June 15, 2020 and tickets are available for purchase now through the carrier’s website.

Today, Air Canada announced the launch of year-round daily service from Vancouver to Santa Ana in Orange County, California. Flights are available for sale now through the carrier’s website for travel between June 15, 2020 and September 30, 2020. Introductory fares between Vancouver and Santa Ana start at $187 CDN one-way. The route will be serviced with an Airbus A319 configured with 14 Business and 106 Economy Class seats featuring a personal IFE system and onboard Wi-Fi. In Tuesday’s announcement, Air Canada’s Vice President – Network Planning and Alliances, Mark Galardo said,

“We are very pleased to announce new daily year-round flights from Vancouver to Orange County as we strategically expand our transborder network into the populous greater Los Angeles area. In addition to offering direct flights to the iconic tourism, sports and entertainment attractions that Orange County is known for, our new flights will also conveniently link the start-up, tech and innovator businesses that both Vancouver and southern California are home to. Air Canada’s Orange County flights will also offer a wide array of connections across Canada and to Australia and India via our YVR hub.”


Air Canada offers more connections between Canada and California than any other Canadian carrier with up to 43 daily flights from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, and Montreal. The airline serves Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Palm Springs and soon Santa Ana, Orange County (from June 15, 2020).
