Air Arabia to Launch Direct Service Between Sharjah and Tashkent, Uzbekistan

The Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest LCC, Air Arabia will launch new direct service between Sharjah (UAE) and Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan starting November 4, 2020.

On Thursday (October 1, 2020), Air Arabia announced the launch of new direct service between Sharjah in the UAE and Tashkent, Uzbekistan from November 4, 2020. The airline will offer twice-weekly service on the route which will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flights are now available for booking through the carrier’s website, call center, or through travel agencies. Since the inset of the pandemic, Air Arabia has upgraded the guest journey with the highest international safety measures. Additionally, all airport bases have implemented health and safety protocols to ensure the health and well-being of Air Arabia’s guests throughout their travels. All Air Arabia Aircraft are fitted with HEPA cabin filters which remove airborne particulates as the air is refreshed every two to three minutes. The carrier reminds all guests to remain apprised of the latest travel conditions and requirements for both their departure and destination countries.

Air Arabia operates a mix of scheduled, repatriation, charter and cargo flights across their hubs in the UAE Morocco and Egypt. In July 2020, Air Arabia launched Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital’s first low-cost carrier (LCC). Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s services complement those of Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi by catering to the growing LCC market in the region.
