Starting December 6, 2023, Air Arabia will launch new direct service between Sharjah and Egypt’s Sphinx International Airport in Giza. The route will operate five times weekly with an Airbus A320 or 321 aircraft.
On Friday (October 20, 2023), Air Arabia announced the launch of new nonstop service between Sharjah and Sphinx International Airport in Giza, Egypt starting December 6, 2023. The route will operate five times weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with an Airbus A320/321 Family aircraft. Sphinx International Airport becomes Air Arabia’s fourth Egyptian destination, complementing existing service to Cairo International Airport, Borg Al-Arab International Airport and Sohag International Airport.
In Friday’s route announcement, Air Arabia Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Adel Al Ali, said,
“We are glad to announce the launch of our new flights from Sharjah International Airport to Sphinx International Airport in the historic city of Giza, Egypt.
