Aeromexico to Launch New Routes From International Airport Felipe Angeles in Mexico City

Aeromexico will expand their Mexico City network with new routes from International Airport Felipe Angeles (AIFA) starting August 15, 2022, complementing service from the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM).

On Thursday (May 20, 2022), Aeromexico announced an expansion of connectivity to and from the Valley of Mexico with new routes from Mexico City’s second airport, International Airport Felipe Angeles (AIFA), complementing service from the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM). The carrier currently offers flights from AIFA to Merida, Puerto Vallarta and Villahermosa, and starting August 15, 2022 will add service to Acapulco, Cancun, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Oaxaca, Merida, Puerto Vallarta and Villahermosa. Around mid-September Aeromexico will also add service to Veracruz, and increase frequencies on three other routes, increasing their monthly capacity to/from AIFA to over 100,000 seats, with 900 monthly departures and arrivals.
