Aeromexico to Increase Frequencies in December With Nearly 11,000 flights

In December the carrier will operate at around 84 percent domestic and 41 percent international capacity compared to last year with increased frequencies on 11 domestic and 20 international routes.

On Monday (November 9, 2020), Aeromexico announced that they will operate almost 11,000 flights in December, approximately 84 percent of their domestic and 41 percent of their international schedule compared to December 2019. The carrier will increase frequencies to 11 domestic destinations including service between Mexico City and Tijuana, Merida, Mexicali, Oaxaca, Acapulco, La Paz, Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo. Aeromexico will also increase service from Cancun to Mexico City, Tijuana and Monterrey as well as between Tijuana and Los Cabos.


The airline will also resume international service to six destinations from Mexico City in December including Montreal, Seattle, Santiago de Chile, Managua, San Pedro Sula and San Salvador. Additionally, Aeromexico will increase frequencies on 20 international routes with added flights between Mexico City and Guatemala, San Jose, Vancouver, Toronto, Santo Domingo, Paris Bogota, Buenos Aires, lima Medellin, Denver Houston, las Vegas, Orlando, Miami, Chicago, San Antonio, and San Francisco. The carrier will also increase frequencies between Guadalajara and Fresno, Chicago, San Francisco and Sacramento. By the end of the year, Aeromexico will achieve a 95 percent recovery in available seat kilometers (ASK) in the U.S. Market. During December, the airline will offer service to 74 national and international destinations in Asia, Canada, the United States, South and Central America and the Caribbean.
