“We have a strong operational team that devotes large effort and works very hard for flights to depart on time. We have very high safety standards and we aim at providing the best service to our passengers. These figures reveal a good summer season, with an important tourist movement in the main destinations within the country, as well as a good number of foreign tourists coming to our country, which is what we should aim at to set economy in motion.”

Last month, the airline’s most popular destinations were Córdoba, Ushuaia, Salta, Bariloche, El Calafate, Salta, Mendoza and Iguazú, Rio de Janeiro and Neuquén. Aerolineas Argentinas added capacity on the Rio de Janeiro route by operating some of the 43 weekly flights with 243-seat Airbus A330-200s. The carrier will also add three new frequencies to Madrid from June 29, 2020 to encourage reciprocal tourism between the two countries.
