Aeroflot Launches Inter-regional Leisure Flight Schedule, Increases Frequencies to Southern Russia

Aeroflot has launched a comprehensive regional leisure flight program, bypassing Moscow with direct flights from 13 Russian cities to Black Sea resorts. The carrier is also increasing flight frequencies between Moscow and Southern Russia.

Today (April 27, 2021), Aeroflot announced the launch of an extensive leisure-focused inter-regional flight program, bypassing Moscow with direct service from 13 Russian cities to Black Sea resorts. The airline will also increase frequencies between Moscow and points in Southern Russia, the most popular summer domestic tourist destination. Aeroflot will serve popular leisure destinations including Anapa, Sochi, Simferopol, Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don from 13 cities (Arkhangelsk, Chelyabinsk, Samara, Kazan, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Perm, Ekaterinburg, Tyumen, Ufa, Orenburg, Syktyvkar and Surgut). Additionally, from June 1st, the carrier will offer direct flights from Krasnoyarsk to Krasnodar, Simferopol, Sochi and Blagoveshchensk.


Aeroflot is also launching summer seasonal service between St. Petersburg and Irkutsk which will operate from May 3rd through October 30, 2021. The route will launch with four weekly flights, increasing to daily service from May 28th. Lake Baikal, the largest fresh water lake in the world, is only 70km from Irkutsk. With the approach of the summer vacation season, Aeroflot will substantially increase flight frequencies from Moscow to Krasnodar and the Black Sea Resorts in Anapa, Gelendzhik and Sochi. From June, Aeroflot will also nearly double the frequency of flights between Moscow and Crimea and the Moscow-Simferopol route will operate almost hourly. Aeroflot’s flight program will be complemented by flights operated by the carrier’s codeshare partner, Rossiya Airlines.
