AerCap has delivered to first of 14 new Airbus A220-300s to Breeze Airways. The aircraft is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines. The 14 aircraft deal includes the sale and leaseback of 11 A220s and three aircraft owned by Einn Volant Aircraft Leasing Holdings.

On Wednesday (December 15, 2021), AerCap Holdings N.V. announced the delivery of the first of 14 Airbus A220-300s to Breeze Airways. The new aircraft is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines. The 14 aircraft deal is comprised of the sale and leaseback of 11 aircraft, the second of which will be delivered later this month, with remaining deliveries from 2022-2023, as well as three aircraft owned by Einn Volant Aircraft Leasing Holdings Limited (EVAL). EVAL is a global leasing platform and joint venture between AerCap and Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), a global investment group. All three of these aircraft will be managed by AerCap and are scheduled for delivery through 2022.
In Today’s announcement, AerCap’s CEO, Aengus Kelly, said,

Also commenting on today’s A220 delivery, Breeze Airways’ CEO, David Neeleman, said,
