Aer Lingus to Restart Flights From Dublin to Newark and Orlando

Air Lingus will relaunch transatlantic service from Dublin to New York-Newark from November 14th and to Orlando On November 27, 2021. The carrier will also resume service from Dublin to Geneva, Prague, Frankfurt and Zurich, as well as between Knock and London Gatwick.

On Friday (October 1st, 2021), Aer Lingus announced the restart of service between Dublin and New York-Newark and Orlando (U.S), as well as to Geneva, Prague, Frankfurt and Zurich. The Dublin to Newark route will operate four times weekly from November 14th, increasing to daily service on December 1st, 2021. Flights between Dublin and Orlando will be operated three times weekly from November 27, 2021. Fares to New York-Newark and Orlando start at €149 and €169 each way, respectively.


Aer Lingus will also resume service from Dublin to Geneva and Prague starting October 15th, and to Frankfurt and Zurich from November 8, 2021. Service on the Dublin-Geneva route will operate three times weekly in October, increasing to four per week in December and nine weekly flights from Christmas, with fares from €55.99 each way. Service from Dublin to Prague will operate three times weekly with fares from €49.99 each way. Starting November 8th, the carrier’s Dublin-Frankfurt route will operate 10 times weekly with fares from €29.99, while Dublin-Zurich flights will operate six times weekly with fares from €55.99 each way.

Finally, Just in time for the festive holiday season, daily service between Knock and London Gatwick will be offered from December 18, 2021 with fares from €32.99 each way.


In Friday’s announcement, Aer Lingus’ Chief Customer Officer, Susanne Carberry, said,


“We are delighted to announce a significant restart to a number of our favourite routes in North America and Europe, and reconnecting friends, families and businesses once again. We are also excited to be able to connect Irish customers with European cities of Prague, Geneva, Zurich, Frankfurt, destinations which are particularly popular in Winter for their Christmas markets, and the upcoming Ski season, and our customers from Knock into London Gatwick for Christmas.


“Safety remains our priority at Aer Lingus and we continue to implement measures such as mask requirements and additional cleaning, as has been in practice across the airline for the past year. We are also committed to making the flight experience as comfortable as possible and customers can enjoy our in-flight food, drink and entertainment services on board.”


Aer Lingus advises customers to use their new online travel support tool to retrieve up-to-date destination travel requirements. Additionally, the airline’s ‘Book with Confidence’ flexible booking policy applies to flights booked through December 31, 2021, should travel plans change.
