Aer Lingus’ summer 2022 schedule takes flight today (March 27th) with 71 routes across 62 destinations, including 14 direct routes to North America including service to New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Orlando.
On Friday (March 25, 2022), Aer Lingus announced the launch of their summer 2022 schedule beginning Sunday, March 27th, with service on 71 routes across 62 destinations. The carrier’s top five European fun and sun destinations this summer are Malaga, Lanzarote, Faro, Nice and Naples, while popular European city break destinations include Barcelona, Rome, Lisbon, Bilbao and Milan. Additionally, Aer Lingus will operate 14 direct routes between Ireland and North America this summer, including service to New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando, Washington D.C., Seattle and Philadelphia. Additionally, direct flights from Shannon to New York-JFK and Boston have already started, with 14 weekly flights.
Popular Greek hotspots this summer include Athens, Corfu and Santorini, while couples can enjoy a perfect getaway to the coastal cities of Nice, Dubrovnik or Split. Family fun in the sun destinations include favorites such as Palma and Alicante. To celebrate the launch of their summer 2022 schedule, Aer Lingus is offering up to 20 percent off fares and up to €20 off bags to popular European hotspots including Barcelona, Nice, Athens and Dubrovnik. Tickets must be purchased by Monday March 28, 2022, for travel from April 1st, through June 30, 2022.
Aer Lingus has partnered with VeriFLY to simplify the travel experience. By downloading the VeriFLY app and uploading COVID-19 related documentation, Aer Lingus customers can ensure everything is verified before arrival at the airport for departure. T he carrier’s ‘Book with Confidence’ policy also allows customers to change flights as many times as they want free of charge, up to seven days prior to travel (a fare difference may apply). The flexible booking policy is available on all booking through September 30, 2022. Additionally, most fares include the option to exchange for a guaranteed voucher up to 14 days before travel, and guests who book Advantage, Flex, Business or Business Flex fares have the option of a cash refund if they decide not to travel.
