On Saturday (April 1st), Norwegian Air Shuttle launched new service from Stockholm Skavsta to Alicante and from Växjö Småland to Malaga. On Sunday (April 2nd), the carrier also launched inaugural service from Stockholm Skavsta to Malaga.
On Monday (April 3, 2023), Norwegian Air Shuttle announced the launch of inaugural flights from Stockholm Skavsta to Alicante and Malaga, as well as from Växjö Småland to Malaga, which commenced this past weekend (April 1-2). Flights from Stockholm Skavsta (NYO) to Alicante (ALC) will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while Flights to Malaga (AGP) will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. The new service between Växjö Småland (VXO) and Malaga will operate once weekly on Saturdays.
Commenting on the launch of the new routes to Spain, Norwegian’s Commercial Director, Thome Maursund, said,
“We hope that the new lines to the Spanish sunny coast are appreciated because Spain is one of the Swedes' absolute favorite countries to which they are happy to return. With the new direct flights, it will be both easier and faster for those who live near Skavsta or Växjö to be able to travel there.”
