On Monday (November 15, 2021), Air Europa announced that they will resume service between Madrid and Córdoba, Argentina, their second Argentine destination, from February 2022. Flights will be operated via Asunción, Paraguay four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The aircraft will depart Madrid at 23:45 and after a stop in the capital of Paraguay, will land at Córdoba International Airport in Argentina at 11:10. For additional customer convenience, Air Europa codeshares with Aerolineas Argentinas between Córdoba and Salta in northwestern Argentina. The return flight to Madrid departs Córdoba at 16:50 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and arrives at Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport at an optimal time for guests to seamlessly connect to over 40 domestic and European destinations in the Air Europa network.

Air Europa’s modern and efficient Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet is capable of cutting 40 minutes off of the flight time to Argentina versus other airliners in the same class and offers reduced emissions and a smaller noise profile. The carrier’s Boeing 787-8 can accommodate 296 passengers, while their B787-9s can accommodate 339 travelers. Both aircraft feature Air Europa’s spacious and comfortable Business Class Cabin.

Air Europa is a member of the global SkyTeam alliance, which is made up of 19 airlines, that serve over 630 million passengers annually. The carrier maintains a modern fleet of over 35 aircraft with an average age of less than 4.0 years, one of the youngest fleets on the continent. Air Europa is committed to environmental conservation, and in 2018 was rated as the most environmentally efficient European network airline by Germany’s Atmosfair.
