Wizz Air Announced on Monday that they are adding service from Milan, Bologna, Verona, Venice and Pisa to Tirana, Albania to their Summer 2020 schedule. The new connections to Tirana will be available from March 29, 2020.
Today, Hungarian low-cost carrier (LCC) Wizz Air announced new service from five Italian cities to Tirana, Albania for Summer 2020. The new service will start from March 29, 2020 with routes from Milan-Bergamo, Bologna, Verona, Venice-Treviso and Pisa to Tirana Albania. Wizz Air will now offer 101 destinations in 13 countries from 13 Italian airports for the Summer 2020 season. In Monday’s announcement, Wizz Air’s Chief Commercial Officer, George Michalopoulos said,
“Wizz Air is strongly committed to creating new opportunities for its Albanian passengers and today we are thrilled to double the number of routes we operate in Tirana and announce five new routes from the capital of Albania to Italy. We believe these routes represent another important step forward in the expansion of our network, while more travelers can enjoy Wizz Air’s lowest fares paired with outstanding service on board. We welcome all eager travelers on-board one of Europe’s youngest and most reliable fleets.”
Service from Milan-Bergamo to Tirana will be offered daily from March 29, 2020 and Pisa-Tirana service will be offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays starting March 31st. The Bologna and Verona service to Tirana will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays starting May 1, 2020. Finally, The Venice (Treviso)-Tirana route will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays starting August 1, 2020.
