Titan Aircraft Investments, a subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide, has today announced the placement of one Boeing 737-800SF converted freighter on long-term dry lease placement with Tblisi-based Georgian Airlines.

On Thursday (December 15, 2022), Atlas Air Worldwide announced that their Titan Aircraft Investments subsidiary has placed one Boeing 737-800SF on long-term dry lease with Georgian Airlines. Established in 2020, and commencing operations in 2022, Tbilisi-based Georgian Airlines offers regular and charter cargo flights across Europe, the Baltics, Caucasus, Black Sea Region, the Middle East and Southern Asia. The carrier currently operates one Boeing 737-800BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) and one 737-SF.
In Thursday’s announcement, Titan Aviation Holdings’ President and CEO, and Atlas Air Worldwide’s Chief Commercial Officer, Michael Steen, said,
“We are delighted to welcome Georgian Airlines and appreciate their trust in Titan as we support their growing business.”
Also commenting on the dry lease placement, Georgian Airlines’ General Director, Irakli Mezrishvili, said,
“As we expand in the airfreight market, we are honored to partner with Titan Aircraft Investments to bring more air cargo capacity to the region with the addition of the 737-800 freighter. We look forward to a strong partnership with Titan’s excellent team as they help us meet market demand and capitalize on cargo flows between Asia and Europe.”
