SkyUp Airlines added a 10th Boeing 737-800NG to their fleet on Tuesday August 16th. The aircraft, registration UR-SQM has been configured for 189 guests. The airline also operates two Boeing 737-700NGs.
On Wednesday (August 17, 2022) SkyUp Airlines announced the addition of a Boeing 737-800NG to their fleet. The aircraft, registration UR-SQM, has been configured for 189 passengers, and is the 10th 737-800NG in SkyUp’s fleet. The carrier also operates two Boeing 737-700NGs. The new aircraft was manufactured in 2011 and features the Boeing SkyInterior cabin with LED lighting, larger overhead bins and an updated interior. SkyUp has also added new, modern and comfortable Geven seats, designed by the famous Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. The aircraft has also been equipped with winglets, and will be updated in fall 2022 with state-of-the-art Scimitar Winglets. This fall, the 737-800NG will be repainted with the classic SkyUp livery and will be deployed on international routes in Europe, and ultimately in Ukraine as well.
Kyiv, Ukraine-based SkyUp Airlines operates an all-Boeing fleet of ten Boeing 737-800 NGs and two Boeing 737-700 NGs. The carrier’s Boeing 737-800 NGs feature the ‘SkyInterior’ designed on the principles of ergonomics, rationalism and comfort, which offer spacious overhead bins and soothing dynamic lighting, which changes according to the phase of flight.
