Ryanair Launches Service From Liverpool to Zadar, Croatia; Aer Lingus Adds Rhodes to Summer Schedule

Ryanair announced Wednesday that they are launching three weekly flights from Liverpool to Zadar, Croatia for summer 2020; Aer Lingus completes their summer schedule with the addition of Rhodes.

Yesterday, Ryanair announced new service from Liverpool to Zadar, Croatia for the summer season. The airline will offer two weekly flights starting May 2020. Ryanair customers can now book flights to Zadar as far out as October 2020. To celebrate the new route, Ryanair is offering flights from £21.99 for travel between May and June 2020. Flights must be booked by midnight on Friday December 13, 2019. In Wednesday’s announcement, Ryanair’s Eimear Ryan said,

“Ryanair is pleased to launch a new Liverpool route to Zadar in Croatia, commencing in May, which will operate twice weekly as part of our Liverpool Summer 2020 schedule. Customers in Liverpool can now book flights to Zadar as far out as October 2020. To celebrate this new Liverpool route, we are launching a seat sale with fares available from just £21.99, for travel from May to June 2020, which must be booked by midnight Friday (12 Dec.). Since these amazing low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto [the Ryanair website] and avoid missing out.”

Aer Lingus Adds Dublin-Rhodes

Aer Lingus announced on Thursday that they have added the island of Rhodes in Greece to their summer 2020 schedule. The new route will be the only direct service from Dublin to Rhodes and will be on Aer Lingus’ summer schedule starting May 2020. Commenting on Thursday’s announcement, Aer Lingus’ Chief Commercial Officer, David Shepherd said,

“We are delighted to announce our first service to Rhodes following the recent reveal of two new direct routes from Dublin to Italy and our new routes from Shannon direct to Paris and Barcelona. We have focused on delivering Europe’s most popular sun destinations as part of our summer schedule next year and the addition of Rhodes along with our existing service to Athens really opens up Greece and the Greek islands to Irish holidaymakers.”

Aer Lingus’ new direct service from Dublin to the island of Rhodes in Greece will be available from May 23, 2020 and September 12, 2020 and will be operated twice weekly with an Airbus A320.
