Ryanair Launches Rome Summer 2021 COVID Recovery Schedule

Ryanair has unveiled their Rome summer 2021 COVID-19 recovery schedule with up to 14 based aircraft and over 470 weekly flights to 80 destinations from Rome's Fiumicino and Ciampino airports.

Today (July 15, 2021), Ryanair announced the launch of their summer 2021 recovery schedule from Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. With up to 14 based aircraft, the carrier will operate over 470 weekly flights to 80 destinations, including 11 new routes. As vaccinations continue to roll out across Europe, Ryanair is restoring connectivity for Rome and restoring traffic in time for the peak summer holiday travel season. From Rome-Fiumicino, Ryanair will offer over 190 weekly flights four domestic and 17 international routes, including new service to Chania, Fuerteventura, Liverpool, Tenerife, Santorini and Zakynthos. Summer 2021 service from Rome-Ciampino will include over 280 weekly flights on two domestic and 55 international routes, including new service to Chania, Trapani, Zadar and Zagreb.


In Thursday’s announcement, Ryanair Group’s CEO, Michael O’Leary, said,

Following the successful vaccination programmes, Italian air traffic led by Ryanair, is set to recover strongly in Summer 2021 and we are pleased to announce our recovery schedule for Rome, which will deliver 8.5m passengers per annum across 80 routes, including 11 new routes to exciting destinations such as Chania, Fuerteventura, Liverpool, Tenerife, Trapani, Santorini, Suceava, Zagreb and Zakynthos.
