Qatar Airways announced Wednesday that they have received the coveted ‘Best Airline in the Middle East’ award at the 2020 APEX Asia Awards ceremony in Singapore.
Today, Qatar Airways announced they have been named the best overall Middle Eastern carrier at the 2020 APEX Regional Passenger Choice Awards in Singapore. The Airline Passenger Experience (APEX) awards are voted on by passengers through the APEX Official Airline Ratings system, using the world’s highest rated travel application, TripIt from Concur. In today’s announcement, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, stated,
The greatest voice and testament to our success is that of our loyal passengers, and to consistently receive the prized Passenger Choice Awards, both at a global and regional level, is a huge honor. We are thrilled to have yet further proof that Qatar Airways is the airline of choice for so many across the globe, and we look forward to continue living up to our role as a ‘2020 Five Star Global Airline’ and welcoming more customers to the Qatar Airways experience.”
Also commenting on Qatar Airways’ success at today’s ceremony, APEX Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Joe Leader said,

The APEX Passenger Choice Awards are based on feedback by passengers of nearly 600 airlines around the world who rate over a million flights using a five-star scale. The results of the Passenger Choice Awards are independently verified and certified.
