Lufthansa announced on Thursday two new destinations for autumn holidays with flights to Gran Canaria and Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Starting October 3, 2020, the carrier will offer weekly flights to both destinations on Saturdays and Sundays.
On Thursday (July 23, 2020) Lufthansa announced an expansion of their Autumn 2020 holiday offer with new service from Frankfurt to Gran Canaria and Tenerife in the Canary Islands. From October 3, 2020, the carrier will offer twice-weekly service to both destinations on Saturdays and Sundays. The Canary Islands are a holiday favorite offering an ideal climate with plenty of sunshine throughout the winter. The flights will be operated with an Airbus A320 Family aircraft and tickets are now bookable starting at €79 one-way and roundtrip from €129.
The Lufthansa Group, which is well known for their expertise in corporate travel, is expanding their footprint to popular tourist destinations and is committed to actively shape the private tourism travel segment over the long term. Today’s addition of routes to Gran Canaria and Tenerife complements the Group’s extensive range of popular tourist destinations already on offer.
