Loganair Appoints Luke Farajallah as New Chief Executive Officer

Effective March 4, 2024, Luke Farajallah will become Loganair’s new Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Farajallah has extensive UK regional airline experience, having held senior roles at flybe, BA CitiExpress  and Brymon Airways.

On Friday (February 23, 2024), Loganair announced the appointment of Luke Farajallah as Chief Executive Officer effective March 4, 2024.  Mr. Farajallah has extensive UK regional airline experience, having held senior leadership roles with flybe, BA CitiExpress and Brymon Airways.  He also played important roles at easyJet and Wizz.  Outside the airline industry, Farajallah worked in the rotary aircraft sector as CEO of Specialist Aviation and Managing Director of Bond Offshore Helicopters. 


In Friday’s announcement, Loganair’s Executive Chairman, Peter Simpson, said,


“We are pleased to welcome Luke Farajallah to Loganair as our new Chief Executive Officer. His commitment to operational excellence and resilience aligns perfectly with our mission to continually improve the services we offer to our valued customers.”


Also commenting on his upcoming role as Loganair’s CEO, Luke Farajallah, said,

 

“I am looking forward to commencing this exciting role on March 4th and to meeting and engaging with the people of Loganair and our key partners.  I feel a great sense of responsibility to ensure Loganair continues its proud tradition of being present in key regional areas and connecting people from some of the most remote areas of the UK . I am grateful to the board for entrusting me to lead this exceptional airline and its loyal workforce into the future.”

 

Founded in 1962, Loganair is ‘Scotland’s Airline’ and the UK’s largest regional carrier.  The airline serves destinations across Europe, Scandinavia and the British Isles with a fleet of Twin Otters, Britten Norman Islanders, ATR 42-500s, ATR 72-600s, Embraer E135s and Embraer E145s.
