flydubai Will Serve Two Airports in Istanbul With the Resumption of Flights to Sabiha Gökçen Airport

flydubai will resume service to Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport with five weekly flights from March 2, 2022. The resumed flights will complement the carrier’s existing daily service between Dubai and Istanbul Airport, which will be increasing to 12 flights weekly.

On Tuesday (February 15, 2022), flydubai announced the resumption of service to Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) in Istanbul with five weekly flights from March 2, 2022. The resumed service complements the carrier’s existing daily service between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Istanbul Airport (IST), which will increase to 12 weekly flights. flydubai also offers twice weekly service to Turkey’s capital, Ankara. The DXB-SAW flights will be codeshared with Emirates, and the route will be operated with a Boeing 737-8 MAX, featuring a lie-flat bed in Business Class and new RECARO seats in Economy Class. The aircraft also offers exceptional inflight entertainment with a full HD 11.6 inch screen and a wide selection of movies, TV shows, music and games in English, Arabic and Russian.

Operations and E-commerce, Jeyhun Efendi, said,

Flydubai guests traveling inbound to Dubai will enjoy a complimentary Season Pass to visit Expo 2020 Dubai until March 31, 2022. Flights to Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) will depart from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB). Return Business Class fares from DXB to SAW start at AED 7,470 (US $2,000) and Economy Lite fares start from AED 1,475 (US $402). Return Business fares from SAW to DXB start from AED 6,575 (US $1,790) and Economy Lite fares start from AED 1,175 (US $320).
