Eva Air Introduces New Marketing Tagline “Taipei, Your Best Gateway to Asia”

On Friday, EVA Air announced a new marketing theme which will be displayed prominently in major city venues, such as Time Square in New York City. The goal of the new marketing tagline “Taipei, Your Best Gateway to Asia” is to create brand awareness.
EVA Air wants the world to know that they are a SKYTRAX Five-Star Airline offering 82 weekly nonstop flights to Asia from eight North American gateways. The airline also offers connections from Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) to 45 Asian cities. EVA’s North American gateways include New York, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver. For the next year, EVA Air’s new branding message will be prominently displayed in Times Square in New York, as well as in Paris, Bangkok and Tokyo.
Hello Kitty Livery
On October 29th EVA Air’s special Hello Kitty "Hand-in-Hand" livery entered service from Taipei (TPE) to San Francisco (SFO) on a Boeing 777-300ER. The special flight will be operated twice weekly (Saturday and Thursday) until December 1st, when frequency will be increased to three flights weekly. The colorful new aircraft will be incorporated into EVA Air’s schedule of 21 weekly flights between San Francisco and Taipei. The aircraft features Hello Kitty and a range of Sanrio Family friends, inviting children of all ages to travel, friendship and fun. For passengers, the Hello Kitty experience begins at check-in with special boarding passes and baggage stickers and continues throughout the flight. Onboard service cabin crew will be wearing a colorful light green Hello Kitty Jet apron and service items will be decorated with Sanrio Family characters. T he theme carries through to custom headrest covers, pillowcases, tissue packages, hand cream, hand sanitizer, napkins, paper cups, utensils and snack packaging. Hello Kitty and Sanrio Family duty free items are also available for purchase through the EVA Sky Shop inflight and online. EVA Air operates seven different Sanrio Family Jets with unique and colorful liveries throughout Asia and on long-haul flights to Chicago and San Francisco.
