On Monday (July 20, 2020), Emirates announced the resumption of service between Dubai and Stockholm starting August 1st, 2020. This summer, with the restart of service to Copenhagen in June, and Oslo service restarting on August 4th, Emirates will once again serve all their Scandinavian gateways. Including the restart of service to Stockholm, the carrier will now offer seamless connections to and through Dubai to 63 global destinations. The Dubai-Stockholm flights will be operated once weekly on Saturdays with the departing flight (EK 157) taking off from Dubai at 8:40 AM and arriving in Stockholm at 1:10 PM. The return flight (EK 158) departs Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport at 3:05 PM and arrives at Dubai International Airport at 11:20 PM (all times local). The Stockholm route will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER.

Travelers can once again enjoy visiting Dubai, as the city has re-opened to international business and leisure travelers. When traveling to Dubai, all guests should hold an international travel insurance policy which covers COVID-19 for the duration of their stay. Emirates reminds their valued guests that as travel restrictions remain in place in many areas, only travelers in compliance with destination eligibility and entry requirements will be accepted on flights.

Customers can travel on Emirates with confidence as the carrier offers flexible booking policies and industry-leading health and safety protocols. Emirates’ guests will enjoy generous rebooking terms and options if their plans change due to unexpected COVID-19 related flight or travel restrictions. Customers can either hold their ticket (which will remain valid for 24 months) and rebook to fly later, request travel vouchers to offset future flight purchases or request a refund on the Emirates website.

Premium guests can enjoy Emirates’ Chauffeur Drive service and relax in the airline’s signature lounge facility at Dubai International Airport. The carrier has implemented a comprehensive set of measures at every step of the guest journey to ensure the health and wellbeing of their guests and team members. Emirates also distributes complimentary hygiene kits which include masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes.
