On Tuesday (July 11, 2023), Emirates announced that in partnership with Extime, they have secured exclusive lounge space for premium guests at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport’s Terminal 1. The elegant private lounge has 155 seats, indoor and outdoor space, and an outstanding food and beverage selection. Serving an average of 190 guests daily, the lounge will facilitate Emirates’ customers comfort until flight operations move to Terminal 2 in July 2024, and a newly constructed Emirates lounge opens.

Lounge visitors will enjoy a wide range of culinary delights across breakfast, lunch and dinner, including French classics such as Croque-monsieur, crêpes, and French financier. International favorites include selections such as salmon tikka, fish tajin, butter chicken and beef stroganoff. Guests will also be pampered by experienced professionals, as the lounge is staffed by team members from Haute Hospitalite. With a bright and breezy bistro feel, the chic lounge features wood and leather accents, a green topiary and contemporary light fixtures and furnishings. Customers can refresh in showers and washrooms, and connect to complimentary Wi-Fi, or enjoy a plentiful buffet and alcoholic beverages from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.

By securing an exclusive lounge within the limited space of Terminal 1, Emirates demonstrates their unwavering commitment to investing in high-quality experiences for premium travelers and frequent flyers. It also highlights the carrier’s longstanding relationship with Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, which started in July 1992 as the first flight between Paris and Dubai took to the skies. Paris-CDG is currently under a renovation program which is expected to be completed in 2024. The refresh will extend and modernize the airport facilities allowing the airport to accommodate more passengers and increase air traffic to achieve a milestone 80 million passengers annually.
