On Thursday (July 16, 2020), Emirates announced the resumption of service between Dubai and Tehran from Friday July 17, 2020. The carrier will also resume service to Guangzhou from July 25th, Addis Ababa from August 1st and Oslo starting August 4, 2020. In August, Emirates will offer 62 destinations with convenient connections to and through Dubai. All flights for the announced schedule additions will be operated with Boeing 777-300ERs. Additionally, travelers can enjoy the many splendors of Dubai, as the city has re-opened to international business and leisure travelers. When visiting Dubai, all travelers should hold an international travel insurance policy which covers COVID-19 for the duration of their stay. Emirates reminds their valued guests that as travel restrictions remain in place in many areas, only travelers in compliance with destination eligibility and entry requirements will be accepted on flights.
Customers can travel on Emirates with confidence as the carrier offers flexible booking policies and industry-leading health and safety protocols. Emirates’ guests will enjoy generous rebooking terms and options if their plans change due to unexpected COVID-19 related flight or travel restrictions. Customers can either hold their ticket (which will remain valid for 24 months) and rebook to fly later, request travel vouchers to offset future flight purchases, or request a refund on the Emirates website.
Premium guests can also enjoy Emirates’ Chauffeur Drive service and relax in the airline’s signature lounge facility at Dubai International Airport. The carrier has implemented a comprehensive set of measures at every step of the guest journey to ensure the health and wellbeing of their guests and team members. Emirates also distributes complimentary hygiene kits to all guests which contain masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes.
