Emirates Offers Flights to 29 Cities and Resumes Transit Passenger Services Through Dubai Hub

Emirates announced on Thursday that from June 15th, they will offer passenger flights to 29 cities and have resumed transit passenger services through their Dubai hub. Service to 16 more cities have now been added and will be operated with Boeing 777-300ERs.

Yesterday (June 4, 2020), Emirates announced that with the lifting of the UAE Federal Government’s lifting of travel restrictions, from June 15th the carrier will be offering passengers services to 16 additional cities, for a total of 29. The carrier will resume transits through their Dubai hub with service to Bahrain, Manchester, Zurich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, New York-JFK, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Taipei, Hong Kong, Perth and Brisbane. Travelers between the Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas can now connect seamlessly through Emirates’ Dubai hub. Additionally, from June 8th Emirates is offering flights from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, allowing travelers from Pakistan to connect onwards to destinations in Emirates’ global network. The new flights are in addition to existing service to London-Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Chicago, Toronto, Sydney and Melbourne. Service to Manila in the Philippines will resume on June 11th, 2020.


Emirates has implemented a comprehensive set of measures to ensure the health and well-being of guests and team members throughout their journey, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes. As travel restrictions remain in place in many locations, Emirates reminds Guests that they will only be accepted on flights if they comply with eligibility and entry requirements of their destination countries.
