Emirates Launches New Ad Ahead of Busy Season of Sporting Events

Emirates is stamping their mark on top global sports with a new ad campaign ahead of a busy season of sporting events across football, tennis, rugby, cricket, golf, horse racing and more.

On Tuesday (May 30, 2023), Emirates announced the launch of a new inspiring advertising campaign ahead of a busy sporting event season. Premiering at Wembley Stadium on June 3rd during the Emirates FA Cup final, the 60-second spot captures high-flying sport action, and features cameos from Arsenal stars and Lancashire Cricket Club players who also wear England’s colors. The new advert inspires viewers with the tagline ‘don’t just fly, fly better’, and opens with a young boy aspiring to fly, before whizzing into a world of action-packed excitement from Arsenal players Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White and Bukayo Saka. Lancashire Cricket Club players Phil Salt and Richard Gleeson also make an appearance.

Additionally, the ad shows inspiring tennis players, horses shooting from the traps, golf, rugby and many more thrilling moments from the world of sports. Narrated by English actor Jason Flemyng, the spot wraps up with the carrier’s brand promise, don’t just fly, fly better.’ The new ad was conceptualized by Emirates’ SVP – Marketing & Brand, Richard Billington and directed by Oscar-winning Director Wally Pfister, and will run across all global media platforms, including TV, online and via digital channels from June 3rd.
