Today, easyJet announced an expansion of their summer schedule from August 1st, 2020 which includes flights from the UK on over 100 additional routes. The carrier is also launching several first-time routes, including service between London-Gatwick and Tirana from July 24, 2020. The new routes are in addition to currently operating flights across Italy, France, Turkey, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, the Balearics and Canary Islands. easyJet has also put all summer 2021 flights on sale and easyJet holidays are now bookable up to October 2021. The airline is also offering a SAVE100 promotional code which will give customers £100 off any holiday booking over £1,000. To qualify for the discount, customers must book their holidays from July 16th through July 21st, 2020, for travel between April 1st and October 31st, 2020. In Thursday’s announcement, easyJet’s Chief Commercial, Marketing and Planning Officer, Robert Carey said,

“We are really pleased to be able to resume flights to even more destinations throughout August to get customers away on their much-needed summer holiday this year. Of course, the safety and well-being of our customers and crew remains our highest priority. This is why we have implemented a number of measures enhancing safety at each part of the journey from disinfecting the aircraft to requiring customers and crew to wear masks. These measures will remain in place for as long as needed to ensure customers and crew are able to fly safely as the world continues to recover from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. And with summer being so popular for families travelling with us, easyJet has teamed up with a superhero illustrator to create comic book inspired face mask covers for children flying this summer to help ease the experience for both kids and parents. Irish artist Will Sliney, best known for his work on Marvel comics Spider-Man and Star Wars, has created a range of new comic book inspired face mask covers for young easyJet flyers. We’re putting even more flights on sale today for summer next year. We’re launching Summer 2021 earlier than ever before so that customers can book early to get the best value fares on flights to hundreds of destinations across our network, and customers have even more options if they want to rebook their Summer 2020 holidays.”
