On Monday (April 12, 2021), Binter announced that they will double the service frequency on their route between Asturias and the Canary Islands from July 2021. The existing flights on Fridays and Sundays to/from Gran Canarias will be complemented by additional frequencies on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Tenerife, for a total of four weekly flights. The expanded schedule has been designed to facilitate both weekend getaways and longer stays, as well enhancing connectivity between all islands. Binter offers free inter-island connectivity for guests with connecting flights.

The existing twice-weekly direct connection between Gran Canarias and Asturias will remain in place. On Fridays, the flight departs Gran Canarias at 8:45 and lands in Asturias at 12:45. The return flight departs Asturias at 13:25 and arrives in Gran Canarias at 15:25 (all times local). On Sundays, the flight departs Gran Canarias at 8:30 and arrives in Asturias at 13:10. The additional flights will connect Asturias with Tenerife on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays, the flight will depart Tenerife North Airport (City of Laguna) at 8:15 and the return flight departs Asturias Airport (Oviedo) at 12:55. On Thursdays, the flight departs Tenerife at 15:00, while the return flight departs Asturias Airport at 19:40 (all times local).

Binter’s guests traveling on the new routes will enjoy the comfort of one of the airline’s new Embraer E195-E2 jets, which is the quietest, cleanest and most efficient single-aisle aircraft in its class. Customers will appreciate more space between rows seats and enjoy the two-by-two seating configuration without middle seats. Binter also offers high-end onboard service with a complimentary meal service. As previously mentioned, for connecting customers, Binter offers a complimentary inter-island segment with the convenience of 170 inter-island flights.
