Avianca is launching Business Class on their route between Los Angeles and Bogotá, with tickets available for booking from June 1st, for travel beginning July 1st, 2023. The route will be operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner featuring 28 Business Class seats.
On Wednesday (May 31, 2023), Avianca announced the introduction of Business Class on their route between Los Angeles (LAX) and Bogotá (BOG). The route will operate once daily with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner featuring 28 Business Class and 222 Economy Class seats. Business Class tickets will be available for booking from June 1st for travel starting July 1st, 2023. Avianca flight AV0083 will depart Los Angeles at 20:45 and arrive in Bogotá at 05:45+1, while the return flight departs Bogotá at 13:10 and arrives in Los Angeles at 19:00.
In today’s announcement, Avianca’s Chief Commercial Officer Manuel Ambriz, said,
“We know that going to Bogotá is almost like going to Europe. It's a long trip and we want our customers to have the opportunity to enjoy more benefits. We listened to them, we made some internal adjustments and today we are implementing the option of flying in the business cabin on a flight of seven hours. We currently operate one daily flight between Los Angeles and Bogotá and we believe that this is an important development to the route.”
Business Class guests traveling between LAX and BOG will enjoy an elevated onboard experience including a welcome drink, dinner or lunch with three menu options, snacks, liquors and other beverages, a blanket and pillow, an amenity kit, mattress pads for night flights and complimentary inflight entertainment. Economy Class guests will also enjoy dinner of lunch with two menu options and a snack, beverage offers, a blanket and pillow kit (night flights) and access to a free entertainment system.
