Austrian Airlines Adds Ten Destinations to Their Summer 2020 Flight Schedule

Austrian Airlines announced on Wednesday an expansion of their Summer 2020 schedule with the addition of ten more popular holiday destinations in Greece, Italy and Spain.

Today (August 5, 2020), Austrian Airlines announced the addition of 10 new popular holiday destinations to their summer 2020 schedule. This August, the carrier will serve highly-desired beach holiday destinations in Greece including Kalamata, Preveza, Skiathos and Skiros as well the Italian destinations of Sardinia, Cagliari, Olbia, Sicily and Catania. Austrian has also resumed service to Ibiza with once-weekly flights on Saturdays or Sundays. In Wednesday’s announcement, Austrian Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Andreas Otto said,


“Our charters from Austrian Holidays have already worked well in the past, especially in the summer. We are pleased that we can now further increase this offer in cooperation with our tourism partners in Austria.”

Starting in September, Austrian Airlines will also offer service to Gran Canaria and Tenerife in the Canary Islands every Saturday. Guests of Austria’s home carrier can now book these and other holidays on the Austrian Holidays website or through a travel agent. For up-to-date travel information and rebooking options, customers should visit the carrier’s website which also includes the new ‘Austrian Infohub’ with the latest entry restrictions by destination.
