On Tuesday (February 9, 2021), Allegiant Travel Company announced a major network expansion with 34 new nonstop routes and nine special limited routes for the Sturgis Rally 2021, an annual motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. To celebrate the network expansion, Allegiant is offering one-way fares on the new routes from only $39*. Seats and dates are limited, and introductory fares are not available on all routes. To qualify for the special fares, flights must be booked by February 10th, for travel by August 16, 2021. The nine special limited flights for the August Sturgis Rally to Rapid City, South Dakota, via Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP) are available with one-way fares starting at only $99*.

In Tuesday’s announcement, Allegiant’s Senior Vice President of Revenue, Drew Wells, said,

“As summer approaches, we expect a lot of pent-up demand for travel, especially for places where people can hike, fish, camp or visit the beach. With this expansion, we've added even more service to destinations known for their outdoor appeal. Now, with Allegiant's low-cost, nonstop service, travelers will have easy, affordable access to the cities they want to visit.”

Founded in 1999, Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) links passengers from small to medium cities to world-class leisure destinations with all non-stop flights and industry-low average fares. The company offers base airfares that are often half the price of a typical roundtrip ticket and operates an all-Airbus A320 Family fleet.
