In cooperation with Tourism Seychelles, Air Seychelles has announced the launch of new direct seasonal service between the Seychelles and Réunion Island starting December 30, 2024.
On Wednesday (August 7, 2024), Air Seychelles announced that in cooperation with Tourism Seychelles, they will launch new direct seasonal service between the Seychelles and Réunion Island starting December 30, 2024. One weekly flight between the two picturesque Islands will operate on December 30, 2024, January 6, 2025, January 13, 2025, and January 18, 2025.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Air Seychelles, CEO, Mr. Sandy Benoiton, said,
“Building on the positive response received upon announcing the signing of the SPA agreement with Air Austral last month and the succeeding meetings with the travel trade in Reunion, we are delighted to launch this seasonal service to coincide with the holidays and offer a hassle free journey to the Seychelles in time for the new year.”
Air Seychelles is the national carrier of the Seychelles and has operated for over 45 years. The carrier is wholly-owned by the Government of Seychelles, and operates regionally from their home base in Mahé to Colombo, Tel Aviv, Johannesburg, Mumbai and Mauritius with state-of-the-art Airbus A320neos. Domestically, Air Seychelles operates up to 30 daily return flights per day to Praslin, the archipelago’s second largest island, as well as various charters to other islands with their De Havilland Canada Twin Otter fleet. Additionally, Air Seychelles offers ground handling services to major commercial and private airlines at their base in Mahe, Seychelles.
