Air Serbia Launches New Service Between Belgrade and Kraków and Varna

Air Serbia has launched new direct service between Belgrade and Kraków, as well as seasonal service between Belgrade and Varna. Both routes will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

On Monday (June 5, 2023), Air Serbia announced the launch of new nonstop service between Belgrade and Kraków in Poland with the inaugural flight, JU638, departing on Sunday, June 4, 2023. On the same day, the carrier also launched seasonal service between Belgrade and Varna, Bulgaria with the departure of flight JU136. Both routes will now operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday’s inaugural flights were greeted with an official welcome at both Pope John Paul II Airport in Kraków, as well as at Varna Airport.


In Monday’s announcement, Air Serbia’s General Manager – Commercial and Strategy, Boško Rupić, said,


“Tourists who love exploring European metropolises will definitely be pleased by our new scheduled flights to Kraków. Now they have the opportunity to arrive in one of the oldest cities in Poland in just two hours on comfortable Air Serbia airplanes. Neighbouring Bulgaria also offers many interesting vacation spots. One that stands out is Varna, often called the 'sea capital of Bulgaria.' We will be flying to the city on the Black Sea throughout the summer season. Maybe our direct flights between Belgrade and Varna will prompt travellers to opt for this Bulgarian city when choosing their holiday destination.”


Inbound customers to Belgrade from Kraków and Varna will also enjoy seamless one-stop connections across Air Serbia’s network to destinations including Ankara, Athens, Amsterdam, Berlin, Bologna Bucharest, Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Istanbul, Larnaca, Ljubljana, Naples, New York, Oslo, Podgorica, Prague, Rome, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Tivat, Venice, Vienna, Zagreb, Zurich and more.
